JLR is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineer to join the growing Current Manufacturing Engineering (CME) team as a Manage the Change Coordinator.

You’ll support the delivery of future powertrain production facilities aligned to JLR’s electrification strategy (battery, EDU, and ICE). This role is key to planning and delivering engineering changes that enable smooth, production‑ready launches across multiple programmes.

What To Expect

You’ll drive end‑to‑end engineering change delivery, ensuring manufacturing systems are fully prepared with zero downtime and no compromise on quality. Working cross‑functionally, you’ll align stakeholders and maintain operational excellence throughout the change lifecycle.

  • Lead engineering changes from initiation to closure
  • Ensure governance, compliance, and change control standards are met
  • Support design approvals and change readiness decisions
  • Plan and run production line trials
  • Ensure full manufacturing readiness (tooling, processes, training, supply chain)
  • Deliver changes with minimal disruption to production
  • Identify and manage risks and issues throughout
  • Act as the key link between engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain
  • Drive decisions at programme and governance meetingsContinuously improve change management processes

What You’ll Need

Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills that you’ll need to have to help you succeed here, including:

  • Experience in manufacturing or engineering programmes (automotive or complex engineering preferred)
  • Strong background in high‑volume production environments
  • Proven ability to manage engineering changes (product & process)
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and tools
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving capability
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Project
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment
