Location: Newtownards Area Pay Rate: £19.32 Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm) Duration: Full-Time, Temporary

Role Overview
An opportunity has arisen for a Design Project Manager (APD) to support the delivery of planned and cyclical maintenance programmes within a regional project delivery team. This temporary role will involve assisting in the coordination and execution of maintenance projects to ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Senior Project Manager in managing regional planned maintenance programmes Assist in coordinating cyclical and planned works across a portfolio of properties
Monitor project progress, budgets, and performance against targets
Liaise with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery
Contribute to reporting, documentation, and programme tracking
Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards
Essential Criteria
1-5 years’ relevant experience in construction, maintenance, or project delivery
Good working knowledge of project coordination or construction processes
Intermediate IT skills (e.g. Microsoft Office and project tracking systems)
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Additional Requirements
Basic Access NI check required
Willingness to work within a structured public-sector environment
Commitment to delivering high-quality services and continuous improvement
Working Conditions & Benefits
Full-time role (37 hours per week) Minimum 20-minute flexible break between 12:00pm – 2:00pm
Holiday entitlement: 23 days annual leave + 12 public holidays (pro rata)
