Position Summary
We are looking for a Medical Rota Coordinator within the Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) Management Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day‑to‑day management of medical rotas, including induction days, information systems and the production of reports and spreadsheets.
- Coordinate on‑call medical rotas mainly within the BNSSG, covering Consultant, SpRs and Junior Doctors (approximately 80 medical staff).
- Compile the On Call Medical rotas, source cover and swaps, and liaise with medical staff to provide information and support.
- Develop strong working relationships with a wide range of NHS staff and external partners, ensuring effective communication and problem‑solving.
Qualifications & Skills
Excellent communication skills, organisational ability, and the ability to prioritise, organise and escalates effectively are essential. A mature attitude, good problem‑solving abilities, a flexible can‑do approach and self‑management of workload are required.
