Salary

Basic salary £29,200 per annum

Summary

Urban Planters has been delivering bespoke planting & landscaping solutions across the UK since 1965. This role supports the company’s mission to beautify homes and workplaces through sustainable, high-quality horticulture.

Responsibilities

• General grounds maintenance
• Grass cutting and trimming
• Shrub and hedge pruning
• Weed control and herbicide application (where certified)
• Litter picking and site tidying
• Operate a range of powered and non‑powered horticultural equipment
• Assist with soft landscaping projects
• Drive company vehicle where required
• Perform any other duties assigned by management within your competence

Professional Conduct

• Represent the organisation in a professional manner
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations
• Ensure client satisfaction at all times
• Propose suggestions to improve organisational performance
• Complete timesheets and paperwork promptly

Qualifications & Experience

• Full UK driving licence
• Experience in garden maintenance (essential)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work well within a team
• Plant knowledge advantageous
• Horticulture qualification desirable but not essential

The ideal candidate has relevant experience, a passion for horticulture, and is comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
