Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver thought‑provoking lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
- Encourage open‑minded discussions and debates that challenge students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support to meet individual learning needs.
- Foster an inclusive and respectful classroom environment where all students feel safe to express their views.
- Participate in school activities, assemblies, and events to contribute to the broader school community.
About You / Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching at secondary school level.
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual student needs.
- A proactive and reflective approach to teaching, with a commitment to student development.
- Flexibility and a willingness to be an active part of the school’s community.
- An enhanced DBS and EWC for Wales.
