Corpus Christi Catholic Academy Trust wishes to appoint a Teaching Assistant Level 4 at St Elizabeth’s Catholic Primary School. The successful candidate will work specifically with children who have behavioural needs. The post will be on a full-time (35 hours per week), term-time only basis (39 weeks a year).

You Will:

  • Take a lead role in managing and delivering pastoral support to students.
  • Work with groups of students under the supervision of the teacher, including the delivery of therapy and programmes of work and implementation of Individual Learning Plans (ILPs).
  • Manage the supervision of students excluded from, or otherwise not working to a normal timetable.

  • Have experience of working with children/young people with social, emotional and behavioural needs.
  • Have strong moral and ethical principles and values.
  • Be able to adapt and respond appropriately to challenging situations.
  • Be open to new ideas, committed to working as part of a team and, of course, have a good sense of humour.
  • Act with the utmost integrity at all times.
