We are an established engineering company with over 60 years of industry experience, manufacturing a wide range of bespoke fabrication projects across commercial, residential, industrial and architectural sectors. Working from a fully equipped workshop, the company mainly focuses on architectural projects.
The role involves fabricating and welding bespoke sheet metal components from engineering drawings, using a range of materials including mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass and copper. Metal thickness ranges from 1 to 10 mm. The suitable candidate will have strong experience in sheet metal fabrication and proficiency in MIG and TIG welding.
The Role
- Fabricate bespoke sheet metal components from CAD and engineering drawings
- MIG and TIG weld mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass and copper
- Operate fabrication machinery including press brakes
- Finish and form metal components whilst ensuring product quality
- Shift: Monday to Thursday 7 am – 3:30 pm, Friday 7 am – 2:30 pm
The Person
- Background in light sheet metal fabrication
- Confident in MIG and TIG welding
