Jobsworth Recruitment Solutions are currently seeking HGV Class 1 drivers for on-going client requirements based in Telford on a number of different full time rotas.
Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver
Days: 08:00 – 15:00
Shifts Available:
- 4-on / 4-off
- 5-on / 3-off
Pay Rate: £18.08 to £23.60 Per Hour – Weekly Paid
Contract: Ongoing
Requirement:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to supermarkets, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all road safety regulations – You will be driving box trailers, there is some use of an electric pump truck. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage paperwork and vehicle inspections are essential. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, along with a valid Class 1 license, CPC qualification, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
To be considered for the role, we need you to meet the following requirements:
- HGV Class 1 license (Minimum 12 months for insurance)
- CPC Card
- Digi Card
- No more than 6 points (No DR codes)
- Rates are inclusive of holiday
