Support Worker – Days

Eden Futures delivers support services for adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental ill health and complex needs. We are hiring Support Workers – Days to work in supported living services, helping people live as independently as possible.

Responsibilities

• Support service users to lead a full and active life in line with their wishes, considering their assessed needs and support plans.
• Safeguard and protect users, taking appropriate action to prevent abuse.
• Provide emotional support and maintain a person‑centred approach.
• Assist with social activities, community participation, finances, medication and practical tasks such as household chores and personal care.
• Act as an informal point of contact for families and social workers.
• Accurately report and record issues related to users’ care to monitor health and wellbeing.
• Comply with health and safety regulations and consider the welfare of others.

• Caring and compassionate with a genuine passion for helping service users achieve independence.
• Open to candidates with no prior care experience; emphasis on values.
• Remain positive and resilient on challenging days, contributing to users’ wellbeing.
• Work well in a team while also taking initiative; willing to support colleagues.

Benefits

Hourly rate: £12.89 (equivalent to an annual salary of approximately £28,151.76 for a 42‑hour week). Salary pro‑rated for part‑time work.

Eligible for a £500 referral bonus for each successful referral.
