What You’ll Be Doing
Own the Journey
Take full responsibility for FCL and LCL import and export shipments, ensuring cargo moves efficiently from booking through to final delivery.
Deliver Outstanding Customer Service
Build strong relationships with customers through proactive communication, expert advice, and swift resolution of operational challenges.
Keep Shipments Moving
Monitor vessel schedules, track shipment milestones, and ensure customers and stakeholders are always informed.
Work with a Global Network
Collaborate closely with overseas offices, shipping lines, customs authorities, carriers, and logistics partners around the world.
Manage Critical Documentation
Prepare and control shipping documentation, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with all operational and regulatory requirements.
Drive Accuracy and Commercial Performance
Manage shipment costing, supplier invoices, and customer billing while ensuring financial accuracy across every shipment.
What We’re Looking For
Ocean Freight Experience
Previous experience within ocean freight forwarding, shipping, or international logistics, with a solid understanding of import and export operations.
Strong Attention to Detail
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple shipments, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
Excellent Communication Skills
Confident communicating with customers, suppliers, and colleagues at all levels.
Technology & Systems Confidence
Comfortable using Microsoft Office and freight forwarding systems, with a strong focus on data accuracy.
A Problem-Solving Mindset
Proactive, resilient, and solutions-focused, with the ability to stay calm under pressure and find practical solutions quickly.
