About the role
Bridgend Day Services provides enabling support to Individuals within our Learning Disability and Integrated Dementia Services across multiple sites in Bridgend. We are seeking to recruit dedicated and professional people to provide support to the Individuals who attend our service. Our aim is to provide Individuals with balanced and equitable support to help them reach their full potential, aspirations and achieve their personal outcomes. Working as part of a large professional team you will be able to implement an enabling approach with regards to care and support. Protecting children, young people or adults at risk is a core responsibility of all council employees.
Requirements
A recognised Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care is a requirement or willingness to work towards.
The ability to greet customers through the medium of Welsh is a requirement for this post.
An Enhanced with Adults Barred list criminal records check by the Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) is a requirement for this post.
