Class 2 Delivery Driver

We’re looking for a Class 2 Multi‑Drop Driver to deliver our freshly baked goods across London and the surrounding area.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with Class C entitlement
• Full Driver CPC
• Excellent knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and transport legislation, including Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Highway Code
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage difficult conversations in a calm manner
• Professional appearance and willingness to represent the Warburtons brand at every customer interaction

Responsibilities

• Complete a 6‑week induction and receive ongoing support from our in‑house driver training team
• Start shifts at approximately 03:30 am and finish in the afternoon, providing you with a full day’s freedom during the rest of the day
• Accurately pick and load orders from delivery notes or an electronic device, either at the depot or on the move
• Briefly record any faults on defect forms and relay them to the relevant parties
• Follow a defined rotating five‑day pattern, including weekends to cover the 43‑hour work week (some weeks may be shorter)
• Maintain excellent customer service, building strong relationships with retail customers and acting as an ambassador for the brand
