Are you a dedicated and safety-focused Shunter Driver who is looking to develop within a reputable organisation. Would you like to join our logistics team at our GXO Rugby site working on the Haier Contract?
You’ll be working on a full-time permanent basis, on any 5 out of 7 days between the hours of 14:00 – 22:00.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Safely manoeuvre trailers and containers around the yards, using a Tug Shunter vehicle ensuring smooth and efficient site operations
- Position trailers and vehicles ready for loading and unloading, always maintaining yard organisation
- Carry out daily vehicle and equipment checks, reporting any defects, damage or wear and tear promptly
- Carry out daily yard checks, recording locations and number of trailers and demount boxes available for use
- Work closely with warehouse, transport and site teams to ensure health and safety procedures and operational requirement
- Operate counterbalance forklift equipment when required (full training will be provided)
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- A full EU driving licence with category C+E entitlement
- A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
- Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum of 2 years driving and/or shunting experience
- No more than 6 current penalty points
- No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
