Social Worker – Kinship & Special Guardianship

Salary: BG12 £42,839 – £46,142 (dependent on experience). BG13 £47,181 – £50,269 (dependent on experience).
Bristol is a great city for social work. The role is part of the expanding Kinship and Special Guardianship Service, aiming to promote permanence by supporting children and their carers.
Responsibilities
Complete assessments of potential Special Guardians, engaging, assessing and analysing their suitability. Support transitions, review and assess support needs and deliver ongoing support to established Special Guardians and the children in their care across the city.
Qualifications & Experience
Systemic thinking and knowledge of Kinship Care and Special Guardianship. Skilled in anti‑discriminatory and anti‑racist practice and confident in having courageous conversations to achieve good outcomes for children.
Additional Requirements
The role requires an Enhanced DBS Check.
