Housing Management Worker

Earn £13.45 per hour (£26,300 per annum) and enjoy a comprehensive benefits package including a Health Cash Plan.

Location: Middlesbrough

Contract: Permanent, full time (37.5 h per week) Monday – Friday 9am‑5pm.

Note: This role does not offer a Certificate of Sponsorship.

What you’ll do

  • Support customers, particularly those with Learning Disabilities and Autism, to maintain safe and well‑maintained homes.
  • Assist customers with housing benefit claims and ensure they are credited to their rent accounts.
  • Turn around vacant or void rooms, beds, or properties within set timescales, including basic cleaning and painting.
  • Carry out and record routine safety and compliance checks in buildings and communities.
  • Manage administrative tasks, update records, order and arrange payment for works.

You have

  • A background in property management or a related field (not a deal breaker).
  • A passion for delivering excellent customer service and a genuine desire to help customers.
  • The ability to work independently, positively influencing people from all backgrounds.
  • Confidence in collaborating with colleagues across the business and with external partners.
  • Passion for property and a thrill from ensuring properties are the best they can be for customers.

Practical details

  • Flexible working hours (or agreement on a work pattern).
  • Based across two properties in Middlesbrough, travel between sites required.
  • Use of technology to submit benefit claims, update records and handle tenancy sign‑ups.
  • Vehicle insured for business purposes required; mileage will be paid.
  • Enhanced DBS check required and paid for by the employer.
