Job Title – Casework Team Leader
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Casework Team Leader to join a high-profile public sector project on a contract basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with a background in government casework, operational delivery, and policy-led decision-making who thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Hybrid (Whitehall, London) 1–3 days per week on site as required.
Contract: Until 31st March 2027
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team by providing coaching and mentoring (no direct line management responsibilities).
- Make evidence-based decisions in a high-volume operational environment.
- Apply government policies and procedures to casework.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver departmental priorities.
- Manage complex casework while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
- Support operational delivery through accurate and timely case management.
- Maintain high standards of quality and professionalism.
Essential Requirements
- Experience working within or closely alongside UK Government.
- Strong experience in evidence-based decision making.
- Experience in operational delivery and rules-based casework.
- Knowledge of government policy and policy-led environments.
- Experience coaching, mentoring, or leading teams.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365, including intermediate Excel.
