We are currently working with a highly regarded Legal 500 firm in Milton Keynes that is looking to appoint an experienced Family Solicitor to join its established and growing Family Law team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing your own caseload of privately funded family law matters from initial instruction through to conclusion
- Advising clients on a range of family law issues including divorce, financial remedy proceedings, private children matters, cohabitation disputes, and separation agreements
- Providing clear, practical, and commercially focused legal advice tailored to clients’ individual circumstances
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and professional referrers
- Supporting the continued growth and development of the Family Law department
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm to deliver an exceptional client experience
- Contributing to business development initiatives, networking activities, and the firm’s profile within the local market
- Ensuring all matters are progressed efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of client care
The successful candidate:
- A qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with experience handling family law matters
- Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of private family law work
- Capable of managing a varied caseload independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- A proactive and empathetic approach to supporting clients through often sensitive matters
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities
- Commercially aware with an interest in business development and relationship building
- A team player who thrives within a collaborative and supportive environment
