Your new role As a Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects from initial concept through to construction. Working closely with colleagues, clients, and design teams, you will contribute to the successful delivery of high-quality engineering solutions.Key responsibilities include:Producing structural analysis, design calculations, and technical structures in steel, reinforced concrete, timber, and design documentation and reviewing project meetings and liaising with clients, architects, contractors, and site inspections and providing technical support during projects are delivered in accordance with relevant standards, budgets, and programme the development of junior engineers and technicians.
What you’ll need to succeed A degree in Civil or Structural least 3 years’ structural design experience within a consultancy working on a variety of building structures in structural design software such as TEDDS, MasterSeries, Tekla Structural Designer, or understanding of Eurocodes and UK Building communication and stakeholder management ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a towards Chartered Engineer status (IStructE or ICE) would be advantageous.
