Role Description: We are seeking a Personal Lines Account Handler to join our team. The Account Handler will manage a portfolio of client accounts, handling day-to-day enquiries, processing mid-term adjustments, and supporting clients with policy documentation and updates. Responsibilities include preparing and issuing renewal invitations, obtaining quotations from insurers, and ensuring timely and accurate completion of renewals. The role involves providing responsive customer service, answering coverage questions, and liaising with insurers and other stakeholders to resolve issues. The Account Handler will maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with regulatory and company procedures, and support colleagues during busy periods to help achieve team and business targets.
Qualifications
- Strong account management skills, including managing a client portfolio and maintaining long-term relationships.
- Previous experience as a Personal Lines Account Handler or in a similar insurance support role.
- Proficiency in handling renewals, including gathering information, obtaining quotes, and preparing renewal documentation.
- Customer service skills, with the ability to respond promptly, communicate clearly, and manage expectations professionally.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records, documentation, and system updates.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in speaking with clients and insurers.
- Experience using Acturis is desirable but not essential.
