Contracts Manager

MW Benney Ltd is a well-established principal contractor delivering projects across the healthcare, education, commercial and public sectors throughout the South West.

Due to continued growth and an increasing workload, we are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join our team and oversee multiple projects ranging from £250k to £5m.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing several projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage multiple construction projects from pre-construction through to handover.
• Lead and support Site Managers and project teams.
• Monitor programmes, costs, quality and health & safety performance.
• Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Manage subcontractors and supply chain partners.
• Chair progress meetings and provide regular project reporting.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and opportunities.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and contract administration.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Commercial awareness and programme management experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
