- Design, develop, and maintain hydraulic systems and components used in machinery, marine equipment, and industrial applications.
- Conduct troubleshooting, fault diagnostics, and repair of hydraulic pumps, motors, cylinders, valves, hoses, and control systems.
- Perform installation, testing, flushing, and commissioning of hydraulic systems onboard vessels, offshore platforms, or industrial sites.
- Prepare technical drawings, schematics, and hydraulic circuit diagrams.
- Carry out pressure testing, flow checks, and performance analysis to ensure optimal system operation.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on hydraulic equipment and machinery.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and project teams during repair, modification, and upgrade works.
- Evaluate damaged hydraulic components and recommend repair procedures or replacements.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, marine regulations, and industry best practices during all hydraulic operations.
- Assist in preparing quotations, job scope descriptions, cost estimates, and material lists.
- Prepare service reports, inspection reports, and documentation for completed works.
- Support procurement by identifying suitable hydraulic parts, seals, hoses, fittings, and consumables.
- Provide technical advice and solutions to customers and internal teams.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring hydraulic failures and propose preventive actions.
