We’re working with a PE-backed services business on a critical hire into their growing finance function.
The group operates across multiple geographies through a buy-and-build strategy, with an active M&A pipeline and a defined value creation journey underway. Finance is a Tier 1 authority function here, and this role is the technical lead of it.
Reporting into senior finance leadership, this is a builder’s role — the finance function is still being shaped, and the person who takes this on will set the standard for how it operates going forward.
Responsibilities
- Own the monthly and statutory consolidation across a multi-entity, multi-currency group
- Lead the group audit end to end — primary contact for external auditors, statutory accounts and all entity filings
- Own multi-jurisdiction tax and transfer pricing compliance, coordinating with in-country advisors
- Build and manage treasury and cash management infrastructure across multiple territories
- Lead the financial integration of incoming acquisitions, from opening balance sheets through to group reporting standards
- Support PE investor reporting, covenant compliance and lender packs
- Build and maintain the group’s internal controls framework
- Drive reporting automation and finance systems standardisation across the group
What we’re looking for
- ACA / ACCA qualified with strong post-qualified experience in a group or multi-entity finance role
- Hands-on consolidation experience, ideally multi-currency and multi-jurisdiction
- Technically strong — acquisition accounting, intercompany structures, UK GAAP / IFRS
- Experience owning an audit end to end
- Familiarity with multi-jurisdiction tax and transfer pricing
- A builder and self-starter — proactive, organised, high attention to detail
