We are looking for an experienced Site Manager with a background in highway maintenance and improvements. The role is full‑time, contract‑based with flexible working arrangements available.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the Health and Safety of yourself, the workforce and the public in accordance with SHE processes and procedures.
• Manage construction sites to programme and budget.
• Communicate with the client, the public, elected councillors and parish councils.
• Ensure sites are compliant with Chapter 8 and the Construction (Design and Management) regulations.
• Interpret documents, scheme drawings and B.O.Q’s in line with NEC4 contract requirements.
• Inspect quality of work in accordance with the Inspection Test Plan and current specifications.
• Comply with the NEC4 change control procedures for early warnings and compensation events.

Essential Requirements

• HNC (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering
• NRSWA Supervisor
• 12D Traffic Management
• NEC Contract Experience
• SMSTS
• Driving licence (clean)

About You

Previous experience in highways, specifically maintenance, is essential for this role.
