Location: Southampton
Compensation: FTE £27,976 per annum. Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full/Part Time (35 or 20 hours available).
About the Role
As the Scheme Manager you will be the friendly face of the scheme, supporting the Delivery Manager with day‑to‑day operations and ensuring residents feel safe, supported, and empowered.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Delivery Manager with daily operational tasks.
- Conduct essential safety checks (health & safety, fire safety, warden call system) and ensure compliance.
- Identify and manage risks, including safeguarding concerns, and take appropriate action.
- Maintain accurate records and manage documentation effectively.
- Communicate with residents, colleagues, contractors and external agencies.
- Respond to feedback and complaints, delivering excellent customer service.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in housing or customer‑facing roles.
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office) and willingness to learn new systems.
- Excellent record‑keeping and attention to detail.
- Self‑starter with strong organisational skills and a passion for helping others.
- Clear communicator capable of working with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Practical problem‑solver who delivers high‑quality work and meets deadlines.
- Demonstrates a commitment to excellent customer service, including resolving feedback and complaints.
Requirements
Appointment to this role will be subject to a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service check, satisfactory references and possession of a valid Right to Work document.
Compensation & Benefits
Scheme Manager – 20 hours per week, £13,988 per annum (Raglan Court)
Scheme Manager – 35 hours per week, £24,479 per annum until February 2027 (Kerrigan Court)
