Job Description:

Responsibilities

As an eCommerce Product Manager, you’ll own the shared platforms and capabilities that power giffgaff’s commercial journeys, enabling teams to build, launch and scale products with greater speed and consistency. Rather than focusing on a single experience, you’ll shape the services that sit underneath them, including ordering, checkout, payments and provisioning, ensuring they are reliable, scalable and designed for reuse across the business.

You’ll connect strategy to execution by turning complex problems into clear, prioritised requirements and working closely with engineering on system design, APIs and event‑driven architectures. Using data and insight, you’ll deeply understand user needs and platform performance, guide investment decisions and continuously improve outcomes. You’ll take a systems thinking approach to defining a roadmap that balances short term delivery with long term platform health, while identifying opportunities for standardisation and automation. Alongside this, you’ll collaborate with design to solve real member problems, proactively manage risks and dependencies, and bring engineers into discovery early. Through strong communication and stakeholder influence, you’ll build alignment, shape decisions across teams and contribute to a high performing product culture while continuing to grow your own capability.
