About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Driver vacancy. This is an excellent opportunity to join the business at entry level and receive world‑class training. You must hold a full and up‑to‑date licence.

Working Pattern

• 0 Hours Contract Basis

Responsibilities

• Ensuring vehicles are driven in line with all current applicable legislation, company policies and procedures.
• Daily Health and Safety vehicle inspections.
• Report all traffic accidents involving any company vehicle to the company insurer immediately in accordance with their requirements in addition to notifying line manager.
• Responsibility for the safe carriage of goods to comply with the basic rules of the Transport Act 1968.
• Maintain and organise planned preventative maintenance i.e. servicing of all company vehicles and organise alternative vehicle cover when necessary.
• Maintain effective vehicle mileage logs and submit the mileage records to the Administration Staff on a weekly basis.
• Ensure all delivery schedules are met in accordance with the daily requirements of the service.

• An annual salary of £25,272 plus a 5% performance bonus, and generous shift allowances if you work overtime/unsociable hours!

Requirements

• Educated on a good general standard with demonstrable verbal and numerical abilities.
• Full UK driving licence (max 3 points)
• 2 years driving experience on UK roads
• Good customer service
