Responsibilities
We’re looking for a Retail Team Member to welcome visitors to the National Trust shop and plant centre at Stourhead. You’ll also be able to talk to them about how everything they buy helps to fund the work of the National Trust.
Other duties may include arranging, receiving and unpacking deliveries, creating shop displays and working with others in the team to keep the shop floor clean and organised.

Role Overview
This role combines a passion for horticulture and plant health as well as retail, keeping plant displays & our shop look appealing. Helping customers with your knowledge and recommendations will be key in this role.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: £12.75 per hour.
Contract: Fixed term contract until 24-Dec-2026.
Hours/working pattern: Seasonal, flexible, weekends. This is a zero‑hour contract, meaning we can’t guarantee a set number of hours each week.
The role includes weekends and Bank Holidays but does not require evening or split shifts. Typical shifts are 2 days a week.
