Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site Sales Representative role based in Coventry. The Sales Representative will engage with prospective customers, conduct in‑home or showroom‑based consultations, and present Everest’s home improvement products in a clear and compelling way. Daily responsibilities include following up on leads, preparing and delivering tailored quotations, and guiding customers through product options, pricing, and financing where applicable. The role involves building strong relationships, managing a personal sales pipeline, and achieving or exceeding agreed sales targets. The Sales Representative will also collaborate with installation and customer service teams to ensure a smooth customer experience from initial contact through to project completion.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in field sales, retail sales, or customer‑facing roles, ideally within home improvements, construction, or related sectors.
  • Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical product details in a clear and accessible way.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate, handle objections, and close sales while maintaining a customer‑centric approach.
  • Comfortable working to targets and managing a personal sales pipeline, with good organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Basic proficiency with digital tools and CRM systems for managing leads, appointments, and customer records.
  • Self‑motivated and reliable, with the flexibility to work evenings or weekends when required to meet customer availability.
  • Valid UK driving licence and access to reliable transport for attending customer appointments in and around Coventry.
  • Previous experience in home improvement products (e.g., windows, doors, conservatories, roofline) is beneficial but not essential; willingness to learn product knowledge is required.
