Maintenance Assistant

Overview

Join Bradley Apartments in Grimsby as a Maintenance Assistant where you will help create a safe, well‑maintained environment for vulnerable individuals.

Main Duties

• Work as part of a team to prioritise and complete maintenance tasks.
• Conduct repairs and manage job lists, including working with external contractors.
• Complete audits and perform regular checks on buildings, facilities and equipment.
• Assist in maintenance of all buildings and participate in on‑call rota for emergencies.
• Coordinate and support contractors, complete paperwork, check tools and report faults.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a maintenance role.
• Good DIY skills, ability to use tools safely.
• Strong teamwork and independent working ability.
• Courtesy and respect towards patients at all times.
• Willingness to attend training, staff meetings and complete system procedures.

Location

Bradley Road, Grimsby, Lincolnshire, DN37 0AA. You will work at Bradley Apartments, a specialist service for men and women with complex needs.
