Title: OSS BSS Business Analyst

Location: Milton Keynes

Duration: 6 Months Rolling Contract (Permanent Consultants will be considered)

Must have experience in: OSS/ BSS/ eTom – TMF / ITIL

We will only consider candidates with the Must have Experience

Job Purpose

To identify and document the detailed business requirements for change projects, working with internal and external clients, stakeholders and suppliers.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop unambiguous, complete and consistent requirements specifications to support implementation and transition to new ways of working
• Engage with stakeholders and relevant subject matter experts to identify, collate and understand the detailed business requirements behind an identified business problem or opportunity
• Analyse and document current processes, workflows and information exchanges to identify opportunities to improve efficiency and/or effectiveness of service
• Analyse and interpret the impact new requirements will have on business operations and design and document the new business processes needed
• Contribute to the development of business change plans and benefits profiles
• Contribute to the production of high-level project plans and identify, assess and elevate project risks and issues as appropriate
• Create and maintain the library of functional documentation related to key processes and the services they enable

Job Skills, Experience and Qualifications

• Thorough and up to date understanding of analysis approaches, tools and techniques commonly applied in the consulting field
• Strong analytical thinker
• Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Business process and data modelling experience
• Strong experience in Telecommunications Process Frameworks (TMF eTOM) and IT Process Frameworks (ITIL)
• Good understanding of OSS-BSS solutions and processes
• Experience of IBM SCCD, BPM, Lotus WebSphere, COGNOS, Blueworks
• ISEB Diploma in Business Analysis
