Role Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to support the busy Adult Social Care Contracting & Market Management Team as a Purchasing Officer.
1: F/T Purchasing Officer within the Older Adults Care Home Team.
2: F/T Purchasing Officer within the Community Based Contracts Team.
The Purchasing Officer will support Contract Managers and the Contracts Team with the monitoring of contractual compliance and quality of care providers in the private, voluntary, and independent sector. The role will involve liaising and negotiating with providers and stakeholders, the collation, interpretation and reviewing of data pertinent to the team’s monitoring functions, and administrative duties.
Post 1
Will be supporting the Older Adults Care Home Team, monitoring care home providers across Derbyshire. There will be some travel involved for monitoring visits.
Post 2
Will be supporting the Community Based Contracts Team, monitoring home care providers on the Derbyshire Home Care Framework. There may be some travel involved.
