Quality Engineer – Automotive Precision Engineering

The role of Quality Engineer:

• Implement and control quality policies, procedures, and documentation within the production environment to establish conformance in line with customer specifications
• Compile and report daily, weekly, and monthly KPI figures
• Manage the PPAP process, new products, and tooling submissions
• Be a presence on the shop floor and support and advise on all quality needs
• Manage all related non-conforming product issues for both customer and internal
• Chair internal quality meetings, supporting the Quality Manager
• Report quality issues and actions with team leaders from each department

The ideal Quality Engineer:

• Excellent communication skills
• Understanding of CMM and metrology
• Background in both low and high volume manufacturing
• Automotive supply chain experience
