Vacancy Summary

This role can be based at any of our construction sites across the UK, including our satellite sites, providing flexibility to suit business needs

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Site Manager.

We offer market‑leading rates of pay, with excellent overtime uplifts, paid travel time, and accommodation subsistence provided when working away on‑site.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing site‑based activities safely, efficiently, within budget, and on schedule. You will ensure all work aligns with company procedures, best practices, statutory legislation, and contractual obligations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing project programmes, monitoring site progress, and taking action to meet deadlines for on‑time project delivery.
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for clients, managing expectations, and supporting the Project Team in meetings.
  • Overseeing labour and plant equipment levels to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Ensuring full compliance with safety regulations across all construction activities.

At Severfield, safety is paramount and embedded in every aspect of our work. Therefore, this role requires a strong commitment to health and safety standards. You will also need to obtain full security clearance if you do not already hold it.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • A construction‑related degree (or equivalent) with relevant industry experience.
  • CSCS Card
  • NVQ Level 5 or 6
  • Qualified in the Site Supervision Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS)
  • MEWP certification
  • Previous site management experience within the steelwork industry.
