Electrical Technician

Yolk Recruitment is recruiting a senior Electrical Engineer to join a market‑leading manufacturing company in South Wales.

With significant investment over the last 3 years, the company is looking to fill an additional Electrical Engineer position.

Responsibilities

Work 3‑shift pattern taking control of a busy manufacturing area covering all aspects of electrical machinery breakdown and upgrades.

• Maintain production area equipment in line with schedules and specifications to ensure reliability and reduce breakdowns
• Test, fault‑find and repair equipment
• Set machine parameters to achieve maximum output
• Identify recurring problems with equipment or machinery and implement corrective procedures
• Maintain equipment to ensure fit for purpose

Qualifications

• Minimum of a C&G or BTEC in Electrical Engineering
• 2 years manufacturing experience, preferably in an FMCG site
