Junior Electrical Engineer

Role Overview

This role is for a Junior Electrical Engineer based in Manchester, working full‑time with a salary between £30,000 and £35,000 per annum at an independent building services consultancy’s design team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary colleagues to produce technically sound work for prominent public and private clients.
• Maintain and nurture strong client relationships to secure future projects, ensuring repeat business.
• Guide less experienced team members and manage the delivery of technically‑excellent, profitable projects across a variety of sectors.
• Use design software including Amtech (and ideally Dialux) for electrical distribution, power generation, lighting, security systems, etc.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Experience in an electrical engineering role within a building services context (design and coordination of electrical distribution, power generation, lighting, security systems, etc.).
• Proficiency in relevant design software, including Amtech and ideally Dialux.
• A portfolio demonstrating a quality, client‑focused approach.
• Strong collaborative approach and ambition to progress toward senior level.
