Assistant Philanthropy & Partnerships Officer
Location: Beechcroft House, Vicarage Lane, Curdridge, Southampton, Hampshire, SO32 2DP (Hybrid working available)
Salary: Up to £26,000 gross per annum, depending on skills and experience.
Contract: Permanent – Full Time, 35 hours per week.
About the role
Provide support across all aspects of the team’s work, focusing on major donors, legacies, in‑memory giving, corporate and community fundraising. Report to the Senior Philanthropy & Partnerships Manager and work closely with colleagues to develop and grow income from legacies, major donors and corporates, coordinate in‑memory giving, and ensure community fundraising supporters have the tools and information required to raise funds for the Trust.
Key responsibilities
- Occasionally organise events supporting the Trust’s fundraising.
- Provide administrative and data support.
- Steward existing supporters.
- Conduct prospect research.
- Coordinate legacy and major donor pipelines.
- Assist community fundraising initiatives.
About you
- Confident communicator and enthusiastic team player with excellent people skills.
- Capable of producing high‑quality work as part of a busy team and helping grow income.
- Experience in administration or a keen interest in developing a career in fundraising.

Hybrid working
Traditional office hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am–5 pm with an hour lunch break. We value in‑person time to develop strong connections, but we are happy to accommodate a hybrid working routine and discuss a pattern of work that suits the candidate and the Trust. Full home working is not available within our roles.
