A secondary school in Walthamstow, Waltham Forest is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs across the school. This is a long‑term role starting in September 2026, with strong potential to continue across the academic year. Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils with SEN, EHCPs, ASD or SEMH needs
- Working across lessons with teachers and support staff
- Helping pupils stay focused and regulated
- Providing consistent classroom and small group support
Qualifications
- School-based support experience or strong transferable experience
- A calm, mature and reliable approach
- Confidence supporting secondary‑aged pupils
- Ability to follow direction while also using initiative
Pay: £90 – £110 per day
Location: Walthamstow, Waltham Forest (E11 1GA)
