Capture Manager
Location: Hybrid working with travel to our Farnborough office. Flexible with where someone is based.
Role Overview: Lead and win specific business opportunities in the UK public sector, driving high‑value contracts across national and devolved government, national security and defense sectors. Provide executive leadership to capture teams and ensure award of contract.
Responsibilities:
- Define customer engagement strategy and engage senior company executives.
- Personally engage with customers and stakeholders to understand challenges and desired outcomes.
- Lead development of winning strategies that differentiate our solutions.
- Assemble and lead high‑performing capture and industry teams.
- Deliver clear leadership to ensure execution of winning capture strategy.
- Work with Bid Manager to develop high‑quality proposals addressing win themes and evaluation criteria.
- Lead internal stakeholder management through deal governance stages.
- Lead post‑submission activities and support programme team for smooth hand‑over to delivery.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Proven experience securing new business in UK public sector, including National and Devolved Government, National Security and Defence.
- Experience selling multi‑discipline IT and system integration solutions.
- Strong understanding of sales and capture strategy.
- Experience in capture/pursuit leadership, managing cross‑functional teams.
- Track record winning complex IT services opportunities greater than £20m.
- Ability to develop and maintain senior stakeholder relationships.
- Exceptional leadership, relationship management, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to work across organisational boundaries.
- Sound commercial acumen and ability to define value proposition.
Clearance Requirements: UK Security Clearance required for this role.
Pay Range: £75,800.00 – £99,800.00.
