Got a passion for bikes and a talent for turning enquiries into riders? Ride Nation (part of 4th Dimension Innovation) is looking for a Sales Executive in Egham to deliver an outstanding, end-to-end customer journey — from that first “just looking” through to handing over the keys to their dream Honda.

Reporting to the Sales Manager / Dealer Principal, you’ll own your enquiries from initial contact to post-sale follow-up, hitting your personal sales and finance targets while delivering a consistent, professional, Honda-standard buying experience. Every deal built right, every customer looked after, every handover one to remember — with genuine earning potential for those who deliver.

Main Duties

  • Manage all enquiry types — telephone, email and walk-in — in line with dealership standards, responding to web leads within one working day and all new enquiries within 24 hours.
  • Follow the Ride Nation 10-step sales process to maximise conversion, qualifying needs, presenting suitable products and confidently asking for the sale.
  • Record all customer interactions accurately on Contact Online and maintain a fully managed daily diary with structured follow-ups.
  • Offer and conduct test rides in line with dealership procedures and safety checks.
  • Build and present structured deals (part exchange, finance and accessories) using the Honda configurator and approved sales tools.
  • Achieve monthly sales, finance and profitability targets.
  • Adhere strictly to FCA and Consumer Duty requirements in all finance conversations — issuing Initial Disclosure Documents (IDD) before finance quotations and completing Demands & Needs and product explanations.
  • Maintain accurate, audit‑ready deal files.
  • Keep customers updated from order to delivery (48 hours after order, pre‑delivery and post‑handover), ensuring all preparation, paperwork and finance are complete ahead of a professional handover.
  • Conduct post‑sale follow‑up to drive high CSI scores, positive reviews and survey completion.
  • Create prompt, high‑quality used bike adverts with strong descriptions and media.

Key Skills

  • Proven sales ability, ideally within automotive or motorcycle retail.
  • Strong communication, listening and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine understanding of finance products and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong organisation, diary management and attention to detail.
  • Confident IT user across CRM systems, Microsoft Office and digital platforms.
  • A professional, enthusiastic and customer‑focused approach.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience in motorcycle or automotive retail sales.
  • Familiarity with Honda systems, Contact Online, or dealership CRM tools.
  • A track record of hitting sales and finance targets in an FCA‑regulated environment.

This is an FCA Approved Person role, so the successful candidate will need to hold or be able to obtain FCA Approved Person status.

The Essentials

  • Hours: 40 hours per week, worked across 5 days on a rota (Monday to Saturday)
  • Salary: £25,397 basic, plus commission — with realistic on‑target earnings (OTE) of £45,000–£55,000
  • Location: Egham (on site)
