Van Driver – Bicester (OX26 3HA)
People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Van Driver to join our well-established client based in Bicester (OX26 3HA).
This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, guaranteed ongoing work, and genuine opportunities to secure a permanent position. This role would suit candidates with previous experience as a Van Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Delivery Driver, Courier Driver, Parcel Driver, 3.5 Tonne Driver, or Commercial Driver.
Please note: You must be aged 21 or over for insurance purposes and have previous van or courier driving experience.
Shifts
• Monday to Saturday (you must be able to work every Saturday)
• Monday to Friday start times between 06:45 – 07:15 (dependent on route)
• Maximum 12-hour shifts (including breaks)
Rates of Pay
• £14.12 – £18.78 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
As a Van Driver, your duties will include:
• Loading your own vehicle each morning (full van load – physically demanding role)
• Completing multi-drop deliveries to pharmacies, doctors’ surgeries, and hospitals
• Completing approximately 30–40 deliveries per shift (route dependent)
• Handling high-value medical products and equipment
• Delivering temperature-controlled products (full training provided)
• Providing excellent customer service and building strong customer relationships
• Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptly
Essential Skills
To be successful as a Van Driver, you will need:
• A valid UK Category B Driving Licence
• Previous van or courier driving experience
• Be aged 21 or over (insurance requirement)
• No more than six penalty points (if six points are held, three must expire within the next six months)
• Live within ten miles of OX26 3HA
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A reliable and professional approach to work
Desirable Experience
• Multi-drop delivery experience
• Medical, pharmaceutical or healthcare delivery experience would be beneficial
• Experience driving long-wheelbase or 3.5 tonne vans
Training Provided
• Assessment process including theory (scenario-based questions) and practical driving assessment
• Full training on temperature-controlled products and company procedures
• Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment
