Job Overview

We are looking for a Proposal Writer to lead our efforts in securing research grant opportunities for Alba Orbital. The role will be a 6‑month initial contract with the possibility of a permanent contract, including part‑time options for suitable candidates.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineering and Finance departments to gather project details.
• Write compelling grant proposals to secure funding.
• Submit and manage grant proposals throughout the review process.
• Identify grant funding opportunities and support execution of the department’s development strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (required).
• Strong organisational and writing skills.
• Experience in MS Office Word and Excel (required).
• Engineering background is helpful.

Employment Details

• Full‑time, on‑site position.
• Location: Hillington, Glasgow – reliable commute or relocation prior to start required.
• Salary: From £28,000.00 per year.
• Benefits: Company pension, Flexitime (Monday to Friday).
