Job Title: Property Assistant Factoring Services Hours: 35 hours per week, 9:00am – 5:00pm Monday – Friday. Contract: Permanent, Full-time Queens Cross Housing Association is an award-winning social landlord based in the northwest of Glasgow. Recognised for its innovation, quality services and high performance, we have an exciting opportunity to join our Factoring Services department as a Property Assistant. The Property Assistant plays a key role in delivering a high-quality property management service to approximately 2,700 homeowners on behalf of Queens Cross Factoring Ltd. Working as part of a small, supportive team, you will help ensure customers receive a responsive, professional, and efficient service by coordinating repairs, supporting estate management activities, carrying out property inspections, monitoring insurance claims, and responding to customer enquiries. This is a varied, fast-paced, customer-facing role involving regular contact with homeowners, contractors, and other stakeholders. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational and communication skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a strong customer-first approach to delivering responsive, high-quality service. Deliver a responsive, professional property management service by managing enquiries from homeowners, commercial tenants, contractors, and other stakeholders. Coordinate reactive repairs, maintenance, and insurance claims, ensuring work is progressed efficiently and customers are kept informed throughout. Carry out estate, property, and pre- and post-repair inspections to maintain high standards across factored and commercial properties. Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks in line with organisational procedures, policies, and health and safety requirements. Work collaboratively with colleagues, customers, and contractors to deliver high-quality, customer-focused services and support the effective operation of the Factoring Services team. Experience coordinating repairs, maintenance, or property-related services. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships and communicate confidently in person, by telephone, and in writing. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office, and experience maintaining accurate records and using business systems. Basic knowledge of property maintenance, building construction, or related health and safety requirements.
