HGV Drivers Class 1 Tramping – Nights Out – Permanent Positions

We are looking for 6 Class 1 HGV drivers for a well‑known company based in Longridge, Preston who are looking for permanent employees after a 6‑week working period through us.

Working nights out tramping, 4 nights a week. 55 hours average per week, earning around £860 per week, yearly pay around £42,000-£44,000.

Qualifications

• C+E driving licence
• Current CPC card and digital tachograph card
• 6 points or less on the licence for minor offences
• Reliable, punctual and keen to look after vehicle

Responsibilities

• Tramping from site to site, four nights out per week.
• Daily walk‑round and vehicle checks; reporting existing damage and defects.
• Correct use of tachograph and drivers hours.

Benefits

Monday‑Friday shifts, no weekend working required. Permanent employment after the 6‑week trial. Salary £42,000‑£44,000 per year.
