TIG Welder

Pertemps Redditch Industrial is seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join a leading fabrication and engineering company in Arrow.

This full‑time position offers a salary of £37,599 per annum, with an hourly rate starting at £18.54 and rising to £19.15.

Working Hours

Monday–Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pmFriday: 7:30am – 12:30pm

Responsibilities

• High‑quality TIG welding on stainless steel and exotic alloys (Inconel, titanium) with thicknesses ½mm to 1.2mm.
• Set up back‑purging to ensure clean welds.
• Read engineering drawings and weld symbols.
• Prepare, clean, cut and fit metal parts before welding.
• Inspect welds for defects such as cracks or gaps, meeting strict quality standards.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of TIG welding experience, including exotic materials.
• Excellent hand‑eye coordination and heat control.
• Knowledge of workshop safety and PPE requirements.
• Ability to pass a practical on‑site welding test.
