Your Role
- The Pendlebury Centre is a Pupil Referral Unit with 6 Outstanding Ofsted Judgements.
- Seeking a highly motivated caretaker.
- Responsible for security of premises, correct operation of intruder and fire alarms, and key holder duties.
- Conduct programme of health & safety checks to ensure compliance with legislation.
- Work in close partnership with all staff.
- Carry out routine maintenance and basic repairs during the Centre day; manage work of contractors and monitor external services.
- Ensure all grounds and garden areas are safe and maintained.
- Support upgrading and improvement of the whole Centre.
- In event of cleaner absence, take on daily cleaning of the Centre.
The successful applicant’s appointment will be subject to satisfactory pre-employment clearances including a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
