Build, enhance and maintain Endur software components for RWEST’s trading and risk platform using Java and C#.
Translate business needs into working solutions through hands‑on analysis, direct stakeholder contact and pragmatic delivery planning.
Ship high‑quality, well‑tested code in an agile squad, continuously improving performance, stability and developer tooling.
Co‑create solutions across risk management and energy trading workflows to improve usability and outcomes.
Collaborate with seasoned Endur engineers and business engineers, sharing knowledge and bringing fresh perspectives to the team.
Take ownership of features from design to production with clear communication and predictable delivery.
Job requirements and experience
- Experience in object‑oriented engineering in Java and/or C#.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in risk management and a strong interest in energy trading.
- Thrive in an agile, collaborative environment and build trust quickly across business and engineering.
- Willingness to take ownership under time pressure to deliver measurable outcomes together.
Advantageous, but not essential
- Hands‑on programming experience in Endur.
- Understanding of energy/commodities trading and risk concepts (trade lifecycle, valuation/P&L, VaR, exposures), ideally gained in ETRM/CTRM or risk technology.
