I am working with a well-established organisation to recruit a Finance Officer on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy finance team supporting a varied workload across financial administration, client accounts, invoicing, reconciliations, and general finance duties.
What Were Looking For:
- Previous experience within a Finance, Accounts, or Finance Administration role
- Experience using Sage 50 Accounts or similar accounting software
- Strong Microsoft Excel and general IT skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage confidential financial information professionally
- Ability to work independently and manage a busy workload to deadlines
Key Responsibilities:
- Process invoices and maintain accurate financial records
- Manage client accounts and update finance databases
- Complete bank reconciliations and process online banking transactions
- Support accounts payable, financial processing, and general finance administration
- Assist with budgeting, financial reporting, and month-end activities
- Liaise with government bodies and external stakeholders regarding financial matters
