Groundman/Driver – School Site Team
Location: New Balderton, Newark, NG24 3AL
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:00pm
Pay Rate: £12.87 per hour
Requirement: Enhanced DBS
About the Role
We’re looking for a dependable and proactive Groundman/Driver to join the school’s site team. If you enjoy working outdoors, supporting a busy school environment, and taking pride in keeping grounds safe and tidy, this could be a great fit.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Grounds maintenance – keeping outdoor areas clean, safe, and well‑presented
- Driving duties – supporting school operations with safe and reliable transport when needed
- General site support – assisting with basic maintenance, checks, and day‑to‑day tasks
What We’re Looking For
- A reliable, hands‑on person with a positive attitude
- Someone comfortable working outdoors in all seasons
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A valid Enhanced DBS registered on the update service
