Chargehand: Non-HGV Refuse Driver & Crew Lead (4-day Week)

Durham County Council is seeking an experienced Non-HGV Driver Chargehand to join their Waste and Recycling team. In this role, you’ll lead a dedicated crew, driving a non-HGV refuse collection vehicle, and be responsible for ensuring timely collection routes while maintaining high service standards.

The ideal candidate will have a valid C1 driving licence, a Driver CPC Qualification card, and a Digital Tachograph card. A strong commitment to customer care and teamwork is essential in helping to keep County Durham clean and sustainable.
