Manufacturing Operative
Location: Earls Colne, Essex – Own transport essential.
Pay: £13.50 per hour.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 3:00pm.
Contract: Temporary.
We are recruiting for a Manufacturing Operative to join a well‑established, reputable company based near Earls Colne. Working within a busy production environment this is a hands‑on role that involves physical work, operating machinery, and working as part of a team to meet production targets.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous manufacturing experience who is looking for long‑term work and the potential to secure a permanent position.
Due to the rural location applicants must have reliable transport to be considered for the role.
Key Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Operative
- Prepare and set moulds for production processes.
- Use machinery and tools safely to complete all production tasks.
- Carry out finishing work to a high standard.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and tidy working environment.
- Handle materials and finished products, including heavy manual handling.
- Support in the monitoring of stock levels and communicate with management.
Requirements
- Previous experience within a manufacturing and production environment is essential.
- Own reliable transport is required due to the rural location.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Physically fit and comfortable carrying out manual handling duties.
